The Carl Family Reunion will be held at Weldon Springs SRA as usual this year.  It will again be held at noon on Sat August 8th at the Chautauqua Pavilion. Thanks go out to Mike Cunningham for reserving the Pavilion again this year. Here is a map of the park.

It was voted on, and approved, in the past that if the temperature was over 90 degrees that the Reunion would be moved to the alternate location. This year’s alternate location is the BCTGM local 103g Union Hall in Decatur. Thanks go out to Linda Rutledge for reserving the alternate location. The Hall’s address is 2955 N. According to the weather it is supposed to be in the high 80’s or low 90’s for the Reunion. At the moment we are going to continue on with the plan of having it at Weldon Springs. I will be sure to bring plenty of fans which should help. Please be sure to check back here prior to leaving to verify location.

As well, I know a number of people are planning to go to Clinton Lake’s swimming beach after the reunion. It is a short 15 minute drive from Weldon Springs and they have a large beach and swimming area. Everyone is welcome to come just be sure to bring your swim suits.
